I Can See Your Voice contestants Billy and Leanne Murphy, from Stamford, win £10,000 with the help of Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond, Amanda Holden and singer Louise

A game show contestant plans to take his children abroad to meet family for the first time after scooping the £10,000 prize.

Siblings Billy and Leanne Murphy appeared on the BBC's I Can See Your Voice on Saturday night.

They managed to successfully work out who could and couldn't sing from a group of mystery performers without hearing a single note.

They were aided by a celebrity panel featuring Jimmy Carr, Alison Hammond, Amanda Holden and singer Louise.

Billy, who lives in Stamford, said: "There was so much banter between us. Every time they cut the filming, we were just chatting. I loved how funny Amanda Holden was, but a lot of it was cut from the show."

Leanne was particularly impressed by This Morning presenter Alison Hammond, who she says is "nuts".

The siblings grew up in Market Deeping. Leanne, 35, is now a teacher in Huddersfield while Billy, 36, works for a London council, securing housing for disabled people.

Leanne had previously filmed an episode of The Generation Game but it was never aired.

Last year she received a phone call out of the blue asking if she wanted to take part in the new show.

The pair travelled to Kent in November where they were required to isolate for a few days before filming. The show took five hours to record.

Leanne said: "I'm absolutely hooked on the programme - it's so funny. I'd have taken part whether there was a prize or not!"

The prize money will be spent on a trip to the Caribbean where Billy and his wife Verity will introduce their three children to their great-grandparents for the first time.

He said: "I want them to experience everything there that I did as a child."
